Site Engineer (Build)

NexVentur is looking to hire a Site Engineer to work with our client in Co. Meath on an exciting Commercial Build project.
Our client are well respected in the Civil Engineering & Commercial Build industry with 5+ years’ work ahead guaranteed in the Midlands/Greater Dublin region.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Engineer (Civil/Build).
• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS) and construction management software like AutoCAD.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with site teams and stakeholders.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.

• Perform setting out, levelling, and surveying on-site to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Implement and uphold quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and project team to plan, execute, and track progress according to project timelines.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submittals, offering guidance to site teams as needed.
• Keep precise site records, including as-built drawings, reports, and daily logs.
• Resolve technical issues on-site and escalate to the Site Manager when necessary.
