Description:
NexVentur is looking to hire a Site Engineer to work with our client in Co. Meath on an exciting Commercial Build project.
Our client are well respected in the Civil Engineering & Commercial Build industry with 5+ years’ work ahead guaranteed in the Midlands/Greater Dublin region.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience as a Site Engineer (Civil/Build).
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS) and construction management software like AutoCAD.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with site teams and stakeholders.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.
Responsibilities:
- Perform setting out, levelling, and surveying on-site to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and project team to plan, execute, and track progress according to project timelines.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submittals, offering guidance to site teams as needed.
- Keep precise site records, including as-built drawings, reports, and daily logs.
- Resolve technical issues on-site and escalate to the Site Manager when necessary.
