Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee and manage air conditioning or solar installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, and hands-on installation work. Responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Oversee all aspects of solar and/or aircon projects, from initial assessment to project completion
• Able to lead team of 10-30 workers and ensure completion of project according to project timeline and managing budget
• Covers responsibilities including structural and electrical design, site surveying, project management and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage on-site activities, and ensure the successful execution of solar and/or aircon installations

Skillset:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field
• 3 – 5 years experience in solar energy project management and site engineering
• Proficient in Autocad
• Proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

1. Project Management:

• Lead team of 10-30 workers and manage site activities for air conditioning and solar installation projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, manpower projections, schedules, and work assignments.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
• Compliant with project specifications, and safety standards.
• Ensure completion of project according to project timeline and managing budget

1. Technical Oversight:

• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers and installation teams.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of air conditioning and solar systems.
• Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot problems that arise during installation.

1. Quality Control:

• Implement and maintain quality assurance and control procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Ensure all installations are carried out according to design specifications and client requirements.

1. Team Leadership:

• Attend meetings to discuss project progress and milestones
• Oversee site work based on tender, and construction drawings
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

1. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including site logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
• Prepare and submit project completion reports and documentation to the client.
