ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be reporting to our Senior Project Engineer, who enjoys coming to work with people that are self-driven but can also have a laugh along the way.
As part of the engineering team your role will be to drive the ITP process. At Growthbuilt, we take our quality processes very seriously, which means there is a detailed step-by-step process. Our Shell Cove team is the biggest yet with learning opportunities at every turn! Our team is led by our Senior Project Manager as well as our highly experienced Senior Site Manager who provide ongoing learning and development on a day-to-day basis.
The Senior Project Engineer you will be working with is known for his expertise in QA and working diligently through complex engineering disputes.
Here’s what your day to day might look like:
- Participate in the development, implementation of ITPs
- Assisting in the establishment, maintenance and monitoring of project quality standards and procedures
- Identify and speak up when there are issues with the project, drive the development and implementation of solutions.
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance
- Review quality of subcontract works on site and communicate them with the project team
- Assist with ensuring design is completed to standard and on time to maintain program
- Manage, monitor and control the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders
- Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief
- Reference tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic are carried out - where applicable
You will be right for this role if you have:
- 4-5 years experience in a construction / engineering role
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- Degree qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Suite and Aconex (or similar
