SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in managing curtain wall or façade installation projects.
- Proven vertical project experience from $50m up
- Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, waterproofing, construction methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Site Engineer with Façade experience to join our dynamic team in Auckland, New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, installation, and construction of building envelope systems, with a focus on curtain wall and façade works. Your expertise will ensure that all aspects of façade installation adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage detailed schedules, logistics, and resources to ensure efficient execution of building envelope works.
- Provide technical expertise in procurement, site surveys, shop drawings, and resolving on-site challenges.
- Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and address any defects promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct safety audits, and promote a strong safety culture.
- Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, maintain effective communication, and ensure accurate project documentation and reporting.
