POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Site Engineer - Mechanical to oversee and manage mechanical aspects of our construction project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that mechanical systems are installed, maintained, and operated efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience as Site Engineer - Mechanical in construction industry,
- Residential type projects experience is ESSENTIAL
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and related construction technologies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, department managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Supervise and manage mechanical construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to procure materials and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of mechanical installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that may arise during construction.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure working environment.
- Keep detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, inspections, and change orders.
