REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous industry experience
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
  • City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection or equivalent
  • Full current driving licence

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE.

Mon – Fri, 8am - 5pm
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join our busy Engineering Team. Reporting to the Site Facilities Manager, the Facilities Engineer will effectively help support, optimise and maintain the facility infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and safety compliance for optimal functionality.
With previous experience in a building maintenance environment, the Site Facilities Engineer will undertake maintenance, inspection, and repair of all depot plant, also responsible for checking the Building Management System to monitor and maintain facilities performance. The Site Facilities Engineer will also carry out regular site inspections to identify any facility asset deterioration as well as monitoring Contractor performance & quality and ensuring planned maintenance is completed effectively & efficiently. This is a vaired role covering both Mechanical and Electrical.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake maintenance, inspection, and repair of depot plant in accordance with Maintenance Management System
  • Check the facilities performance using the Building Management System on a daily basis for any alarms
  • Carry out regular site inspections to identify any facility asset deterioration and report/repair as applicable
  • Ensure that the planned maintenance is carried out in accordance with the asset maintenance plan
  • Ensure contractor maintenance is to standard and update Asset Maintenance System as appropriate
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults within core field of expertise
  • Ensuring that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards
  • Responding swiftly to all emergency situations and resolving them efficiently
  • Promote a positive safety culture
