Responsibilities:
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
We are currently searching for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our Kalgoorlie site in regional Western Australia. Reporting into our Head of Regional Manufacturing, the Site Manager will be responsible for all aspects of site management, manufacturing of chemical products, maintenance of facilities, unloading and dispatch to customers.
You will lead a small team of 4 operators on site and be supported by the IXOM centralised functions including SHE, Projects, Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation and adherence to IXOM’s SHE policies and procedures
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements relating to OH&S, Dangerous Goods, EPA, and transport.
- Production planning and assistance in coordinating product deliveries to customers
- Organisation and execution of maintenance activities according to relevant plans
- Create, maintain and manage CFC budgets ensuring spending is under control
- Create, maintain and manage CAPEX budgets. Lead and manage some projects for the site
- Assist with planning and coordination of manufactured and traded products delivery to customers
- Implement processes to identify and implement cost reduction and operational efficiency opportunities
- Management and development of staff. Ensure adequate competence and training. Recruitment of personnel when required
- Develop and maintain relations with regulatory bodies and the local community
- Engage with customers and internal & external stakeholders to ensure their challenges are met in a timely manner
- Weekly and monthly reporting of site activities and KPIs
