UGL’s Industrials & Resources division now have a vacancy for a Site Manager. Based on site at the Tarong Power Station in Nanango, Qld, and reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for the management UGL’s and subcontractors’ activities on client’s site whilst ensuring prompt UGL attendance and resolution of service requests. This is a great opportunity working with a client that values a consultative relationship, and offers a 4 day work week, accommodation options whilst on site and a company vehicle. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Act as the primary point of contact between UGL and the client management team Review and audit maintenance operations to ensure cost effectiveness, environmental compliance, and safety Develop and maintain strong relationships with the onsite teams, client, and subcontractors Manage compliance checks as required by statutory regulations and industry guidelines Continuously monitor progress against KPI’s and initiate corrective measures where deviations to these KPI’s become evident Overall responsibility of monthly reporting Strictly adhere to both UGL and client’s safety and environmental systems and standards About You: Relevant Trade Certificate or Tertiary Qualification Minimum 10 years’ experience in a leadership role, preferably in a maintenance environment Ability to prepare and monitor budgets, with a solid understanding of financial and commercial principles Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and see them through to completion Strong client focus coupled with a genuine desire to assist team members Commitment to Continuous Improvement Excellent written and verbal communication skills What we offer: A chance to join a 6,000+ strong organisation owned by the CIMIC Group, one of the world’s leading international contractors What makes you right for UGL You have a can do attitude You want to be part of a high performing team You believe success and value are driven by real teams where everyone has a role to play About Us: UGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services.
