Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.
As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.
About the Job
We are looking for a dedicated Site Manager to lead our BU High-Speed Separators workshop in Jordbro and guide it into the future. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth production, warehouse and packaging processes while taking responsibility for site safety, environmental compliance, and financial performance.
You will be tasked with ensuring the factory has the right resources—machinery, personnel, and expertise—to achieve long-term sustainable business results. As the Site Manager, you will be accountable for the entire supply chain, overseeing everything from start to finish, and driving the factory’s overall performance and development.
Your leadership will be essential in optimizing workflows, driving continuous improvement, and supporting internal and external customers. Additionally, you will lead ISO certifications, collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams, and oversee new product development with R&D.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing operations to ensure smooth production and packaging.
  • Managing the workshop with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, and financial responsibility.
  • Ensuring the factory has the necessary resources to achieve sustainable results.
  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for the supply chain and factory development.
  • Leading ISO certifications, customer audits and compliance with standards.
  • Collaborating with HR, finance, and serving as the local contact for Alfa Laval internally and unions.
  • Driving improvements in cost efficiency and production processes.
  • Ensuring top-level support for internal and external customers.

Who You Are

To succeed in this role, you thrive in dynamic environments where multiple tasks happen simultaneously. You are a team player who knows how to motivate your team to reach shared goals. You have a strong attention to detail and are comfortable leading in a fast-paced setting. With a focus on results, you are organized, customer-oriented, and always looking for ways to improve. Furthermore, we expect you to have:

  • Leadership experience in managing and improving production departments, ideally in stainless-steel process system manufacturing.
  • Experience in cost-saving strategies and improving both products and processes.
  • Experience in production and machine investments.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read technical drawings such as layouts and flow diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English.
  • Knowledge of TIG, orbital welding and ISO 3834-2, is considered meritorious as well as experience in manufacturing of equipment for the medical industry.

What’s in it for you?
We offer a challenging position in an open and friendly environment where we help each other to develop and create value for our customers. Your work will have a true impact on Alfa Laval’s future success.
