Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, managing and repairing plant and equipment, including troubleshooting breakdowns.
  • Developing, implementing and recording structured maintenance schedules for plant and equipment.
  • Collaborating with other internal Research Units to document maintenance systems and processes as required.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary, regionally dispersed research team to carry out tasks in support of CSIRO scientific objectives.
  • Providing technical support to field-based research projects, including plant and equipment operation at multiple sites across the cotton industry.
  • Providing instruction to early career technicians on activities pertaining to the immediate work area as required.Other duties as directed.

    Salary: AU$93k - AU$105k pa plus 15.4% superannuation
