Description:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree – preferable Engineering or Mining
Experience in Mining Equipment Management
Demonstrated ability to work with Mining Customers and/or Mining Dealers
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Fluent in English to communicate with people from other countries.
Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Knowledge of and experience with providing post-sales support; ability to support maintenance of hardware products.
Responsibilities:
- Determining and scheduling appropriate support requirements for a region or area and participating in negotiating service level agreements.
- Identifying and addressing the training and development needs of project managers and team staff.
- Collaborating with sales and product development teams to develop and execute an effective sales strategy for each new business opportunity.
- Taking ownership of customer issues and requirements and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
