The Site Quality Specialist at Danmark Protein plays a crucial role by engaging with all departments to ensuring food safety, and maintaining our high quality standards, implement customer, and authority requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality by applying AFI and Arla Foods QEHS policies, meeting relevant standards, and addressing customer demands, legislation, and site-specific requirements in a cost-effective manner.

You can look forward to joining our Quality Assurance Team, consisting of 10 skilled and dedicated employees, as a part of the Site QEHS department that includes 25 employees in total. Here, you’ll play an important role in ensuring product quality and safety while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring product release aligns with customer specifications, analyzing results and non-conformities, investigating product quality-related customer complaints, and participating in audits and training initiatives.
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and alignment with Arla Foods’ mission, strategy, and values, as well as Danmark Protein Essentials and Business Plans.
• Leading continuous improvement efforts using LEAN tools, developing and implementing improvement tools, and promoting a digital mindset through data-driven decision-making.
• Supporting the QEHS Business Plan by participating in its development, working on activities, and providing risk assessment and crisis management.
• Coaching teams and individuals within the quality and production functions, and engaging with managers and colleagues to maintain process compliance.
• Collaborating with the Production department, as the most important partner, along with the Product Manager, AFI R&D, and AFI global QEHS to ensure product safety and compliance, while facilitating HACCP activities in production departments
