Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

To work closely with Product and other Engineering teams to ensure that services and components meet and continue to meet all their agreed performance targets and service levels.
You will contribute to the ongoing maintenance and development of our observability platform ensuring the ongoing availability of key service level indicators across the organization to ensure visibility and reporting on our service level objectives. You will help maintain the availability of our platform by supporting engineers with key metrics needed to respond to incidents, proactively monitoring the environment to identify areas of risk and supporting with disaster recovery by improving the automation of key activities and processes across the system.

JOB DUTIES

  • To support the business in monitoring our core platforms and services against our target service level objectives.
  • Advise and support Engineering teams in providing the correct level of observability when creating and integrating new systems and services.
  • Assist with development and ongoing maintenance of our observability platform.
  • Provide support and assistance to other Engineering teams in extracting key metrics needed to respond to incidents and help proactively monitor the environment to identify areas of risk.
  • Provide support with automation of key processes and procedures to support disaster recovery and help reduce our real time to recovery.
