Responsibilities:
As the Site Security Manager, your purpose is to manage and support the supervisors and onsite team in accordance with HMCTS guidelines, taking responsibility for delivering an unrivalled quality service within the area of responsibility.
Other main duties and responsibilities:
- To lead the team and deliver the required services within your remit and to ensure that a strategic, innovative, efficient, quality service is provided to all clients within the agreed budgetary guidelines.
- To manage the time and attendance process, e.g. Timegate and provide management information as requested
- To provide a quality service delivery to all customers in accordance with company procedures through a highly motivated and appropriately trained team of operational support staff.
- To provide consistently high levels of performance, meet and exceed contractual obligations and strategic objectives.
- To provide a quality service delivery to the Buyer in accordance with company procedures through a highly motivated and appropriately trained team of operational support staff.
- To take a direct interest in the Health & Safety of all employees and third parties who may be affected by work activities carried out within your specific remit.
- Identify recruitment needs and retention statistics to assess resource requirements against contract specification.
- Manage the delivery of the portfolio within your Area of responsibility to provide consistently high levels of performance that meet contractual obligations to the Buyer
- Deliver agreed levels of customer service as a minimum standard and look for ways to continuously improve upon service delivery.
- Actively participate in the development of succession planning through compliance with the PAR process and ongoing performance management.
- Recruit, induct, coach, motivate, develop and, where necessary, manage the performance of direct reports.
- Communicate clearly and positively with staff at all levels in the Area to create a focus on business goals and build an environment where all staff are valued for their contribution.
- Ensure that all direct reports receive an annual performance appraisal in the required timescale, which includes an individual Personal Development Plan.
- To ensure that appropriate staffing levels are maintained with the necessary skills and provide all necessary training and development to ensure their competence in their respective roles.
- Lead, develop & Manage People through engagement and effective communication.
- To ensure compliance with OCS and HMCTS values, policies and procedures.
- Deputise in the absence of line manager.
