SECURITY SITE SUPERVISOR:

We are looking for experienced Security Site Supervisors to join our team at one of our team at SBSA Data Centre (River Club), Simmonds street, Selby, Johannesburg. If you have a strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude able, and are a strong manager who has a proven capability to organize, motivate and inspire a team we are looking forward to receiving your application.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 10 or higher
• B Grade PSIRA registered
• Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities
• Presentable
• Must reside in and around JHB
• Must have experience working in a corporate environment
• No Criminal record
• Clear disciplinary record for at least the last 6 months
• Must have previous experience as a supervisor.
• Applicant must show leadership qualities and skills

You will supervise the onsite guards.
You are responsible for ensuring that the 3 PPPs are actively upheld:
1. Protect the premises and property of the client.
2. Prevent illegal trespassing/unauthorized entry.
3. Prevent any criminal activities from happening.

In order to do the above to a level of excellence you and your team/shift will:

• Do day and night shifts;
• Provide visible access control at the site;
• Do patrol as and when needed
• Provide armed response when requested;
• Incident management.
• Do inspections and parades to verify that:
• PSIRA certificates are valid and give notice to members if their certificates are close to expiring.
• Bi-Annual Criminal Checks on all Security Personnel.
• Reporting of all crimes and identified crime trends after each shift.
• Control of keys, equipment and company assets utilized by your team.
• Administration of sick notes and annual leave & ensuring that all staff take annual leave according to a leave roster.
• You will attend all meetings as and when requested.
