YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • High School Diploma/Degree in related field of study is desired
  • 3+ years of experience in similar role managing security guard deployment
  • 3+ years of experience in 3PL/Distribution centers/Warehouse environment is preferred
  • Proven experience in conducting Investigations and problem solving
  • Strong computer skills required, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project Management and Leadership experience
  • Extensive experience in usage and deployment of security equipment including, intrusion alarm, access control, video surveillance systems and GPS tracking equipment.
  • Knowledge on ISO standards and Federal and Provincial regulations/guidelines as required.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will supervise contract security at assigned sites, daily security team operations, and support local and national security initiatives. Review and coordinate response on reported security incidents to ensure effective resolution. You will also monitor and support our customer supply chain security program by managing the GPS program and providing investigative support as required. You as supervisor will define site specific work instructions and oversee maintenance of installed security systems as required.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and support assigned contract security staff.
  • Manage installed security systems and coordinate any required repairs or maintenance.
  • Support customer security initiatives including management of GPS tracker deployment and investigative support.
  • Support in SOX compliance audit.
  • Provide investigative support in reviewing inventory or process concerns and client requests.
  • Provide after hours intrusion alarm monitoring and response to coordinate actions to address alarm issues.
  • Maintain QSHE work instructions and support QSHE initiatives in security, quality, health & safety, and environment within the location.
  • Strict application of a code of conduct that includes honesty, integrity, respect of individuals, corporations, the community and the environment.
  • Adheres to and complies with all QSHE, company policies and procedures, including but not limited to GMP legal and regulatory requirements; and any other applicable industry standards.

  • Must ensure all staff and subcontractors are made aware of the expectations, responsibilities, rules and regulations, processes and consequences outlined in the HS Policies, Program and employee manual.
