We are delighted to announce the opportunity has opened to join the Alternative Heat team as Site Supervisor, overseeing and ultimately holding full responsibility on the delivery of specific projects across the Frankfurt region, Prompting and directing the sub-contractors & direct employees and communicating with internal departs along the project lifecycle, everything from commercial, design to Health & safety.
Within Alternative Heat we provide a turnkey offering and have the individual departments to assist with everything from design, manufacturing & installation where the successful candidate will be responsible in prompting and directing the departments in completing tasks and ensuring successfully milestones are achieved through the course of a project.
Due to our continued success in the delivery of this sector across Europe, we are now one of the leading manufactures in the delivery of modular off-site solutions and want to continue to grow our network to be the contractor of choice in Data Market.
As we continue to excel in the sector, we are looking for an individual who has experienced working within the Data environment and the ability to bring new and fresh ideas to sustain the company’s strong growth and future development plans.
An individual who can hold ultimate responsibility in delivering a project and develop the sites teams to sustain a safe environment and professional installation.
We are looking for the individual who is a strong communicator, commercial awareness and can dissect programmes to communicate and direct a team.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Good Microsoft Office skills – to include Excel, Word, Projects, and Outlook
  • Relevant experience with Mechanical & Electrical Installations and Management within Data Market Sector.
  • Ability to take ownership of their duties and a willingness to grow and learn within their team and the company.
  • Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both internally and externally with our clients.
  • Punctual, Reliable and Trustworthy.
  • Have Managed multiple teams in your previous role for more than 5 years.
  • Delivered Projects to the value 2M+
  • Full clean driving licence

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and develop your site management team to ensure the delivery of a project in a timely manner.
  • Liaise regularly with the client via online meetings and regular on-site discussions to ensure they are satisfied with current progress and the forecast of up-and-coming works.
  • Ensure your managers & site teams are working as efficiently as possible and all high-level objects have been set out for your management team to be accomplish in target dates.
  • Ensure all drawings that the site teams are working to are the correct revision.
  • Liaise with the project in house team and site teams ensuring all high-level templates are populated and Setout for the installation teams to follow. (i.e., Material trackers/programmes/lessons learnt)
  • Ensure all plant and equipment are procured correctly, in line with the specification and client requirements.
  • Throughout the project track costs (material & labour) to ensure the project will be delivered as per original target spends, communicating with the commercial department regularly.
  • Assess requirements for labour and sub-contractors to undertake various elements of installation work and the development/expansion of your team.
  • Vet all sub-contractors to ensure they fulfil company requirements and are engaged appropriately via fixed price order or JCT contract. This will be assisted by the commercial team.
  • Prepare a weekly project meeting with the wider internal Alt Heat team to ensure critical path elements are being actioned and addressed by the relevant departments.
  • Provide accurate information on contract variation and monthly claims back through to the commercial team for their monthly valuations.
  • Attend monthly meetings with the Operations Manager to discuss team performance and areas to develop the team as well as looking at job performance.
  • Attend Monthly Meetings with the Operations Manager to review project performance.
  • Ensure and assist with the preparation of O&M manuals upon completion of the project. Ensure the team has marked up all As-built drawings and compiled all associated certs.
  • Ability to work in conjunction with the client to ensure Alt Heat and their site teams work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • Ensure the tracking of project performance is tracked on a weekly basis via progress reporting back to the Client and higher level management.
