The Site Supervisor and Labourer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of construction projects, maintaining site safety, and supervising team activities. We seek individuals who can demonstrate leadership, superior problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage various construction tasks effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Site Supervisor or Labourer.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various sites as required.
  • Strong physical stature capable of withstanding long hours on feet in varying weather conditions.
  • Trustworthy with a proven track record of managing company resources responsibly.
  • Ambitious professional attitude, striving for continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
  • Project management skills, with the adeptness in planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a safe workplace environment and ensure all safety standards and regulations are adhered to.
  • Direct and manage labour force and subcontractors to align with project specifications and timelines.
  • Inspect the quality of work performed by staff and contractors to ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Communicate project progress and potential issues to management and stakeholders effectively.
  • Deliver and pick up materials as required for the completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain effective work systems to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Prepare and update project documentation, including reports and logs to ensure all project details are recorded.
  • Communicate with clients and contractors to establish clear expectations and foster professional relationships.
  • Administer first aid and emergency protocols if required on-site.
  • Handle equipment and resources management, ensuring all tools are maintained and functional.
