1. Site Supervision

• Oversee daily construction activities: Supervise workers, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel to ensure tasks are completed on time, according to specifications, and safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards: Monitor and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment, preventing accidents and ensuring that workers adhere to safety protocols.
• Quality control: Inspect materials, workmanship, and construction activities to ensure they meet the project specifications and industry standards.
• Monitor progress: Track the progress of the project, ensuring it is moving forward as per the schedule and addressing any delays or issues promptly.

1. Surveying and Mapping

• Conduct surveys: Perform land surveys before and during construction, ensuring accurate measurement of site conditions (e.g., boundaries, levels, elevations, slopes, and alignment).
• Establish reference points: Set up benchmarks, reference points, and grid systems to guide construction activities.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings: Use blueprints to measure and layout project features, ensuring construction follows the design plans.
• Monitor the site layout: Regularly verify that the construction site aligns with the engineering designs, making adjustments as necessary.

1. Coordination and Reporting

• Coordinate with project managers and engineers: Liaise with senior management to ensure smooth flow of information, updates on site conditions, and changes to the project plan.
• Prepare reports: Document daily site activities, survey results, construction progress, materials usage, and any problems encountered. Report on work status to higher management or stakeholders.
• Resolve issues: Identify and address problems on-site, including construction errors, design discrepancies, or unexpected changes in terrain.

1. Site Setup and Organization

• Organize materials and equipment: Ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly stored on site.
• Manage site logistics: Plan and manage the movement of materials, personnel, and equipment on site to avoid delays.

1. Collaboration and Training

• Train and supervise crew: Oversee and train construction workers, ensuring they understand safety protocols, technical requirements, and their tasks.
• Work with subcontractors: Ensure subcontractors are following construction plans, safety standards, and quality requirements.

1. Survey Data Management

• Data analysis and interpretation: Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data and other measurements to support construction planning.
• Report any discrepancies: Report any deviations from the planned measurements or discrepancies in the project layout to the project manager or engineers.

1. Environmental Compliance

• Ensure environmental standards: Oversee that construction operations adhere to environmental regulations and zoning laws, especially when it comes to the land survey.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per mont
