Description:

The Site Supervisor will be an experienced Cable Jointer or Civil Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career (e.g., LV Jointing, Substation fit outs etc.). Supervisory experience is not essential as we will support your transition into this position.
You will be responsible for supervising the management of projects to ensure they run to agreed timescales as efficiently as possible whilst controlling subcontractors, materials, and any on-site issues. You will be responsible for attending pre-start meetings, progress meetings, and project handovers.
You will have the overall responsibility for the safe working and health and safety on site, ensuring that operatives are adhering to H&S requirements including carrying out Quality of Work, Health and Safety & Behavioural Audits. Regular travel will be required to make this role successful, supervising sites within your region.
requirements

Essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Cable Jointer or Civil Engineer.
  • Relevant certifications in cable jointing, safety management, or project management are preferred.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good health and safety knowledge and practices

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a supervisor or a team leader, but not essential.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS

  • Put forward suggestions for improvement of any processes.
  • Frequent communication with project stakeholders
  • Ensure site operatives adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Ownership and accountability for planning manpower efficiently and effectively
  • Lead by example conducting all business interactions in alignment with Company processes.
  • Monitor site to ensure efficiency and productivity on projects within agreed timescales.
  • Manage Operatives and Subcontractors, carrying out Quality of Works (QoW) & H&S Audits
  • Ensure site installations are carried out to standard expected by ENVEVO/Client/relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, personnel, and local authorities; attend all relevant meetings.
  • Survey and feedback to management on a weekly basis.
  • Attend weekly/monthly progress meetings with Project Manager
  • Assist Project Manager on achieving KPIs.
  • Assist in cost control initiatives within the department.
  • Highlight any variations required on projects to Project Manager
  • Identify material requirements for projects and business activities.
  • Assist in the selection of sub-contractors’ quotations with Project Manager/Commercial
  • Ensure all personnel are inducted prior to going on site.
  • Ensure when onsite the completion of Operatives’ Daily Risk Assessment

· Follow ENVEVO & Client QHSE processes and procedures.
· Regular one to one meeting’s; weekly and monthly with any direct reports
