Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to an increasing pipeline of work, we are an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team as a key member in the delivery of a range of specialised modular construction projects.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction works of the site and monitoring the delivery of the project to meet the client and company’s requirements for quality, safety and budget. This full time role will be working on remote and metro projects and is exciting opportunity for someone who is experienced site supervision across multiple projects varying in size and complexity. You will have job variety and work in a collaborative environment with opportunities to develop skills with a market leader in modular construction.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Leading construction team on site, monitoring project construction schedules and reporting on project progress and updates.
  • Reviewing project specifications and drawings and provide advice on construction methodology.
  • Organising required materials, equipment, subcontractors, and direct labour.
  • Monitoring subcontractors scope of works and oversee daily operations.
  • Ensuring the project is delivered in compliance with drawings and specifications, contractual documents and internal procedures.
  • Ensure implementation of safety procedures and policies on site.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • 3+ year experience in a similar role in commercial construction.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the building industry.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards/Regulations and other applicable legislations and construction techniques.
  • Commitment to safe working practices.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with trades, colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
  • An ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Skilled in defining, prioritising and organising completing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative.
  • Hold a current valid Western Australian driver’s license.
  • Construction & Induction Training Card (Whitecard)
