Responsibilities:
Based at Whangarei, this fast paced, challenging role will allow you to showcase your commercial construction management experience and further develop these skills on this $100m development. Reporting to the Commercial Site Manager you will be instrumental in the on-going construction of the multi-level main building featuring a swimming pool and a memory care wing. As the Site Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the project brief, initiate and mobilise the resources necessary for successful project delivery.
- Assist in developing, and implementation of the site-specific safety plan, ensuring the correct allocation of responsibilities.
- Direct, manage, and coordinate all labour contractors and suppliers in order to meet the project timeline, quality and budget criteria
- Work alongside and assist Site Managers / Project Managers to plan the work programme, resolve any identified problems and implement improvements.
- Completing records for site reports, including health and safety, adherence to project specifications and review documentation
- Carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, and consistency with Summersets processes and procedures
