Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated Site Technician to oversee External Wall Insulation (EWI) projects across Scotland, you will play a key role in monitoring workmanship on site, ensuring quality control and supporting the site teams to ensure that the projects follow the specification.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experienced in EWI systems, rendering, insulation, supervision and training.
  • Strong knowledge of EWI systems, components and installation techniques.
  • Ability to understand specifications and drawings.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A valid CSCS card or willingness to obtain one which can be provided.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • NVQ in plastering or rendering would be advantageous.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect EWI installations to ensure compliance with the specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks and report any defects and non-conformances.
  • Work closely with project site teams, contractors and suppliers.
  • Assist with surveying, and documentation of project progress.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and installers.
  • Keep records and logging of information gathered.
  • Understanding of latest PAS2035 regulations.
