Description:
Canadian Executive Search is thrilled to invite skilled Chemical Batch Makers to join a dynamic production team for a leading client in the Guelph area. In this pivotal role, you’ll support our Senior Operator and play a crucial part in ensuring efficient production processes.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting with batch production and upholding high cleanliness standards in both the plant and warehouses. REQUIREMENTS:
- Forklift experience preferred, but on-site training is available.
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
- Basic mathematics skills required.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring ongoing cooks in the 4 production kettles
- Assist Senior Operator with in-process testing of batches
- Assists with staging of raw materials for batches.
- Assists with loading of reaction vessels.
- Maintain cleanliness in plant, warehouse, and other common areas.
- Assists with filling and palletizing finished goods containers after a batch.
- Assists with shipping and receiving on the forklift (receive and warehouse incoming raw materials, load trucks for outgoing finished goods, etc.)
- Receive materials and check inventory on Client’s database.
- Following direction of Senior Operator and other supervisors for proper monitoring of a batch.
- Contribute to the Client’s safety and production culture, helping improve our daily
- processes from both an efficiency and employee safety point of view
- Miscellaneous other work deemed necessary in daily operation of facility (cleaning, etc.)
