Skilled Labourer - Essex

at  Marlborough Highways

Here at Marlborough we are looking for a Labourer to join our gang completing Footway works across our contracts in Essex and potentially London. Experience working in general highways maintenance would be beneficial and a driving licence is required.

Key Accountabilities

• Shovelling
• Lifting, carrying materials
• Set up pedestrian barriers
• Pick and deliver products using a forklift (training given)
• Trained to operate handheld tools (disc cutter, Whackers)
• General housekeeping -keeping yard open space, internal storage area clean and tidy free from hazards
• Ability to work well in a team and willing to learn.

Skills and Experience

• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS card would be beneficial
• Ideally previous experience in the highways/civil engineering industry
