We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Skilled Operative to join our high performing team.
REPORTING TO: Site Manager
LOCATION: Based in Dublin area
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist site management by carrying out general tasks as assigned, carrying them out reliably and efficiently.
  • Carry materials and tools to where required and help prepare the site for daily operations.
  • Prepare equipment such as ladders and scaffolding for use, practicing safe manual handling and working at height guidance.
  • Where trained & licenced, drive and operate site vehicles such as forklift trucks, dump trucks or other vehicles.
  • Mark out site areas using string lines & stakes.
  • Operate hand machinery where required, such as drills, power tools.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and machinery after use, reporting any damage or defects to a member of site management.
  • Work alongside and assist specialist craft workers such as joiners, plumbers, electricians etc, ensuring all instructions and guidance are followed.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Mix and pour concrete, ensuring the mixer is maintained.
  • Dig shallow holes and trenches for foundations, drains etc.
  • Lay pipes, manhole covers and inspection chambers.
  • Put up all required signage on site, working in a safe and neat manner.
  • Erect barriers at various locations across the site as per the guidance of site management and the SHEQ team.
  • Help keep the site clean and tidy at all times, removing debris and obstructions.
