Description:
The post holder will improve patient experience by providing support and non-clinical information throughout the entire cancer pathway and reduce patient anxiety by providing reassurance and information on interventions/tests, surgery appointments and ensuring patients arrive for interventions fully prepared. Refer complex clinical decisions to the skin cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists for assessment and review. Assist Clinical Nurse Specialists to develop education, information resources and to collate the information for patients and other professionals regarding all aspects of cancer care
