Description:
Are you an experienced transport manager with knowledge of sludge and wastewater treatment? If so, we have a great opportunity for you in our Bioresources department.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
For this role, you will need:
- strong interpersonal skills
- to be a great motivator to your team
- Road Transport CPC to ensure compliance with our ’O’ license
- IOSH Health and Safety Management Certificate.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who is a proven performer in the wastewater or sludge treatment function. You will have operational and man management experience, and performance management skills. Knowledge of the commercial sector will be beneficial to you in this role, as will process knowledge in sludge and wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Sludge Logistics Manager, you will be aiding in managing sludge collection, transportation logistics, and sludge treatment at specified sites with the aim of full compliance with regulatory standards, and minimal cost through careful scheduling and optimal thickness of product.
You will be scheduling a team who work 24/7 across a large geographical area, to ensure the effective running of the staff/teams under direct control. A typical day as a Sludge Manager will involve ensuring vehicles are on the road, managing awareness of staff to improve safety, maximising team productivity, and identifying areas of savings for the business.
