Description:
CORE COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- In-depth experience in technical discipline. i.e. Architecture, Engineering etc. relating to Monitoring and Analytics
- In-depth understanding of Security Controls and associated Tooling with a focus on deployment of Security Monitoring and Analytics capabilities
- Cyber Security Delivery Expierience in an DevSevOps environment. Understanding of Software best practices are key.
- Experience in delivering sustainable change in a highly complex, huge scale, multi-national organisation as well as leading the associated delivery programmes at scale
- Excellent inter personal skills and ability to explain technical subjects concisely to non technical audiences
- Comprehensive understanding of Data Analytics and related technologies and how to apply them
- Ability to communicate both written and oral to senior stakeholders

Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE
- Creating Vodafone’s Global Cyber logging, monitoring and analytics strategy - across all of Vodafone environments, products and services
- Being Vodafone’s senior leader, thought leader, and leading technical expert on Cyber logging, monitoring and analytics
- Globally executing Vodafone’s Cyber logging, monitoring and analytics strategy in a consistent and standardise way. Working collaboratively with functional leaders across Vodafone to achieve this common goal.
- Ensuring that Cyber logging, monitoring and analytics operates globally with the right resilience and against operational financial and technical parameters.
- Ensuring that that Vodafone’s Cyber logging, monitoring and analytics capability evolves in line with the attacker threat landscape, evolving business demand, and global best practices.
- Drive Security Data Management across Vodafone, promoting the principle of ‘Data as an Asset’ to ensure at scale sustainable growth across the global footprint
- Accelerate Vodafone’s ambition to become a TechCo , embracing DevSecOps principles to develop world-leading capabilities that reduce risk and significantly improve effectiveness and efficiency across the organisation
- Effecitively collaborate with all parts of the Global organisation, ensuring that the Cyber Data Programmes are well understood, embraced fully and can be utilised effectively by everyone in the organisation
KEY ACOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the rollout of Cyber Logging, Monitoring and Analytics capabilities to all areas of the Global organisation through the creation of a Targeted Monitoring Service to reduce risk as and where needed
- Provide deep technical insight to stakeholders, focusing on Data Management, SIEM, SOAR, Analytics and Automation.
- Promote the Cyber values across the organisation, focusing on Data Management ensuring appropriate Governance, Reuse of existing best practice
- Enable non-technical audiences across Vodafone to engage with key principles and focus on outcomes rather than pure technical details
- Provide insight to senior leaders and stakeholders on the most effective path to acheiving Vodafones future Technology Strategy
- Provide input and review into Vodafone Security Policies relating to reduce risk across the organisation
- Support the Risk Led approach to CYBER by providing a service that will protect our most critical assets
