Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a passionate and strategic-minded Consultant to work directly with small business owners, helping them gain control over their financial operations. This role requires a mix of technical financial expertise and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and encourage business owners to take charge of their financial success.
This role has the flexibility to work anywhere from 15 - 35 hours a week. We believe it is extremely important to have work-life balance and we strive to provide a workplace that is flexible to each person’s needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University/College degree in Business, Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Valid G Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Experience in bookkeeping and accounting is strongly preferred.
  • Personable and comfortable meeting with new people.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Excel, and other financial software.
  • Must be local to Chatham, London, or Windsor and willing to Commute to Chatham daily - subject to client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients in person and build strong relationships.
  • Teach business owners how to manage their bookkeeping, finances, and strategic planning.
  • Provide hands-on training in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Excel, and other financial tools.
  • Assist in developing business strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Encourage and support business owners in becoming self-sufficient in business management.
  • Travel locally within the Chatham, London, and Windsor areas to meet with clients.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-person meetings, remote work, and office-based tasks.
