Job Description:
In the Small Projects Sales Manager role, your responsibility will be to develop, train, mentor, and motivate our Service-Sales representatives (Client Partners) towards improving performance. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees of varying seniority and skill sets.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Business or Finance acceptable, along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in energy service industry with direct customer-interface experience either in sales or client relationship, or equivalent experience
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High commitment to the company’s vision and values
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Effective working in team environment

    Most of the work is sedentary. However, when performing job site visits the employee will
    encounter: moving over rough or uneven surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy to light items. Transporting of items such as laptop computers, tools, ladders and other heavy equipment; driving an automobile, etc.
    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the primary duties of this job. While performing the primary functions of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. During periods of project site visits, the employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as mechanical equipment rooms which could consist of confined spaces and loud noises. Employee may work in different environments while on various job sites. This job will require approximately 10-30% travel to project sites. Travel will occur using an automobile or by airplane to destinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining goals and strategies to maximize sales
  • Creating an environment to execute and remove waste
  • Advising Client Partners through exploratory questioning
  • Holding qualification parameters for opportunities
  • Creating development plans for Client Partners
  • Understanding the motivational needs for each Client Partner
  • Identifying areas of improvement and providing help towards specific issues
  • Onboarding new Client Partners and leading activities
  • Clear understanding of the offers being provided and how to strategically sell them
  • Ability to create metrics and track performance
  • Ongoing 1-on-1 and team engagement to remove hurdles and generate strategies
  • Conducting regular forecasting and pipeline activities
  • Analyzing market needs and trends to place personnel appropriately
