Job Description Summary: Monetization & Pricing are key strategic levers to grow and optimize PayPal’s business. This role will partly own global SMB monetization projects and initiatives while also partly supporting Sales structure commercial proposals on Channel Partner deal negotiations. The role will work closely with Pricing, Product, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Owners, and Finance. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to gain exposure to a high-growth, international business environment, and interact with the PayPal leadership team. We are looking for a strong addition to our SMB Monetization Team who excels in taking on new projects in emerging Fintech domains, strives in discovering and investigating unfamiliar arenas, and is adept at navigating unfamiliar challenges with creativity and innovation. This individual should possess a strong background in quantitative analysis. Relevant experience, preferably in high-growth, global e-commerce companies, consulting, investment banking, or private equity. Pricing and/or financial analysis experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

The SMB Pricing and Strategic Initiatives Manager will report directly to the Director of SMB Monetization. The role will require that the individual to:

  • Support global strategic projects
  • Price channel partner opportunities
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on new business opportunities
  • Improve business cases and/or build new models to support new initiatives
  • Partner with the Commercial Owners to make educated pricing decisions and supporting the growth of the business
  • Provide structure, frameworks and guidelines on pricing and strategic initiatives
  • Align and improve processes to increase efficiency and foster faster decision making by benchmarking best practices
  • Suggest and implement new ideas to positively impact pricing performance
