Description
The Services, Markets, and Banking (SMB) group is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data to our clients across the organization, through implementing state of the art technologies and operational processes which promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account and corporate action data. The SMB organization works in partnership with data clients across all SMB business lines, deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data
The SMB Security Master Central Project Manager (IT Project Tech Lead - C13) is responsible for managing projects, staffing and budgets that include but not limited to foundational product and pricing coverage extensions and integrations with applications with Front, Middle and Back-office systems. This will involve communication with multiple teams, managing complex dependencies, collecting and packaging status reporting covering cross functional areas.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 6+ years of experience in a related IT Project Manager role
  • Financial Knowledge on Securities across multiple asset classes (Equites, Fixed Income, Mortgages, etc.)
  • Strong experience with Atlassian and MS Office, with emphasis on JIRA, MS Visio, and MS Project
  • Strong experience with Project Plans, RIAD Logs, PowerPoint Presentations, and Senior Communications
  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
  • Must possess excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate to senior audiences
  • Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
  • Experienced in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Banking Technology Program management lead experience
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
  • Strong teamwork skills in a small local setting, as well as across different geographic locations
  • Experience with network diagrams and architecture diagrams

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience,
  • Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders and IT partners outside of SMB to execute projects and deliver business solutions
  • Manage IT and Reference Data projects across several teams
  • Create and manage project plans across complex cross functional teams
  • Document and communicate project status, risks, issues, mitigation plans
  • Collect requirements and structure information, create system flows, and depict current state dependencies to provide project documentation
  • Prepare and communicate senior management reports on program status and metrics
  • Work closely with IT and Operations partners to identify area which require monitoring and create business as usual (BAU) processes to satisfy the requirement
  • Management of Panorama (internal delivery management tool) to ensure staffing, deliverables, and status reporting for in-flight programs
  • Managing client data inquiries and issues
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
