Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
To place Surface Mount components using specific machinery at our busy Essex site. To assemble product within the required quality standard and output levels, whilst working in a team or independently towards a collective company goal.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run the Surface Mount machines, pasting and hand placing components.
- Load feeders
- Pay attention to the time taken on each assembly and note it on the work ticket.
- Notify the Production Supervisor of any difficulties in assembly, to allow alternative methods of assembly to be provided or more training to be instigated.
- Adhere to all paperwork requirements and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner and to company quality procedures.
- Handle product safely in line with company procedures.
- Follow anti-static procedures including the wearing of anti-static clothing provided.
- Ensure full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements i.e., Health and Safety
Assist in other areas when workload dictates
