JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop, maintain, and improve the SMT process.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Ensure that all aspects of HSE integrated into ROE are followed.
• Encourage safe HSE behaviors.
• Follow the procedures of the Quality System (CHPs, DOCs, SOS, etc.).
• Comply with the requirements of our internal and external customers, as well as with the metrics established in my department by taking corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Comply with the Quality Policy.Implement the RESIDEO Operating System, Mature each of the tools: Gembas, Coaching, Visual Management, 5S’s, Material Strategy, Building Quality, Model Changes, RPS, Material and Information Flow, 7 Wastes, VA and NVA Activities, Continuous Improvement, TPM, Communication, Knowledge Sharing, Standard Work according to the area of responsibility Works with equipment suppliers to resolve issues with equipment, service/support, warranties, and delivery times

• Development of SMT DEK, SPI, Placement, Reflow Ovens, SPI and AOI programs.
• Optimize SMT lines based on changes in demand and required mixing.
• Implement actions to achieve and sustain the minimum yields, scrap and OEE objectives according to the objectives of the assigned SMT line(s).
• Provide a quick response to SMT process issues.
• Identify and implement cost reduction projects.
• Development of new processes and improvements for the SMT area.
• Support for transfers and/or introduction of new products in SMT, ensuring that they comply with the established dates, yield requirements and necessary documentation.
• Lead maintenance technicians in charge.
• Responsible together with his group of maintenance technicians in keeping your SMT lines/machines in good condition by scheduling preventive/corrective maintenance in a timely manner
• Support for all applications used in the SMT line such as Setup Center, OIS, Siplace Pro, line, Monitoring, EDM and Siplace Explorer.
• Validate the changes made in the libraries of the Siplace machines on a daily basis by means of EDM.
• Improve and maintain the pick up rate of your assigned SMT lines.
• In charge of following up on loaners (from stock) for repair and commissioning.
• Responsible for validating and correctly registering in barcoding the new manufacturing NP that enter the plant.Engineering changes.
