ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT

There are 3 SNEs seconded short-term slots currently available which are intended to
be filled by means of this procedure.

PURPOSE OF THE SECONDMENT:

The SNEs seconded short-term will contribute to the activities defined within the
operational plan of the Operational Task Force (OTF).

FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

The SNEs seconded short-term will carry out the following main functions and duties:

• Proactively detect and identify High Value Targets and their associates, whose

activities affect the EU MS;

• Draft related intelligence reports to the relevant EU MS and other countries

respecting data protection requirements;

• Coordinate with the relevant Analysis Projects the provision of Europol

services and products to the MS and other countries in relation to HVT

investigations;

• Promote information exchange between Europol and concerned MS/third

parties to enhance the situational picture on serious and organised crime

affecting the EU;

• Support relevant investigations from Europol headquarters or any other

relevant location;

• Conduct open source research;
• Perform other tasks defined within the Operational Plan of the OTF.
