• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect the entity and its employees.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments; follow up on corrective actions.
• Develop, update, and train employees on SOPs and WIs.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; implement corrective actions.
• Manage IOD and COD claims, liaising with medical professionals and insurance providers.
• Organize and coordinate on-site and off-site SHEQ training sessions.
• Oversee contractor safety management and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
• Conduct regular plant walks and safety inductions.
• Manage legal appointments and ensure personnel are trained and competent.
• Facilitate effective SHER communication and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and submit weekly SHEQ reports; track and analyze performance metrics.
• Lead the Health and Safety Committee; address and resolve SHEQ issues.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies.
• Manage work permits for employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ legislation and regulations.
• Support Capex projects and ensure they comply with SHEQ standards.
• Procure and distribute PPE; maintain stock levels and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Implement and maintain environmental management systems.
• Lead by example with a hands-on approach to SHEQ activities and performance improvement.
