Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To support the development and implementation of the Arriva Bus communications strategy deployed via all channels and across all UK businesses with emphasis on (but not solely related to) digital channels.
Developing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring information is simple to find for customers with a view to building customer engagement and brand awareness.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (BULLET POINTS)

  • Responsible for content ideation, creation and delivery across digital and social channels. Co-ordinating with stakeholders to ensure its effectiveness
  • Implementation of the content plan as advised by the Head of Digital Marketing and Head of Marketing
  • Use of appropriate media tracking tools to gauge content sentiment, levels of engagement and other key metrics in line with the agreed KPI reporting suite
  • Development and implementation of effective, targeted campaign content, in line with the overall marketing strategy
  • Proactively seek out trends and new developments within content marketing channels, tools and applications; apply this knowledge and inform and educate where appropriate
  • Assist with any other online or offline communications-related projects as and when required or instructed by the Head of Digital Marketing and Head of Marketing Services
  • Proactively manage multiple social channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more for UK bus.

This role requires:

  • Experience within a customer-focused, B2C marketing environment, with a particular focus on social media
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of full mix content, trends and best practice
  • Experience of campaign monitoring and management tools
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Confident manner, with the ability to communicate at multiple levels
  • An infectious enthusiasm for customer communications and the desire and ambition to develop your knowledge and understanding of the subject
  • Knowledge and experience digital marketing/advertising is essential with clear understanding of offline channels and content deployment
