Our team shape projects that connect communities and impact daily life for millions. Join our Regional Civils team as a Social Impact Advisor and build new futures.
What you’ll be doing
- Create and deliver project Social Impact plans in line with client needs
- Prepare & issue notifications to local residents and businesses
- Third sector engagement and partnership management
- Report and monitor Social Impact on internal and external portals. KPIs might include; evidencing local labour, local spend, arranging work experience, recruiting priority groups.
- Supporting subcontractors to deliver social impact objectives
- Deliver STEM and construction workshops in schools and colleges to support career planning, developing education content
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, internal and external
- Liaison (as required) with local residents and businesses.
- Attend and contribute towards Project reviews
- Create a schedule of any enquiries/complaints from residents/businesses & general public.
- Community Engagement works:➢ Identify opportunities for volunteering and fundraising➢ Working with the project team, supply chain and external providers to secure graduates,apprenticeships, and work placement opportunities➢ Engaging in educational & community activities to deliver social value targets➢ Keep an updated schedule of any work we do involving the community and generate Case Studies to evidence activities
- Provide updates for newsletters and communications
- Analysing local media coverage
- Designing, writing and/or producing presentations, articles, leaflets, reports, publicity brochures and information for web sites
- Registering the projects with the Considerate Construction Scheme, ensuring the delivery of best practices, assisting with the overall application and review process
- Updating and maintain the relevant KPIs to enable accurate internal and external reporting
