What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy project team to deliver social impactoutcomes by developing local networks of school groups, community groups, third sector organisations, employability partners and charities.
- Co-ordinating attendance at events with schools, colleges and universities in areas of STEM and construction careers including developing relationships with local schools and education organisations including Developing the Young Workforce and Skills Development Scotland.
- Promoting apprenticeship opportunities both with Balfour Beatty and through our supply chain.
- Providing detailed monthly reports for client reporting and monthly meetings and conducting trend analysis and look-ahead planning.
- Coordinating charitable donations and community-based volunteering opportunities.
- Support Considerate Constructor Scheme audits on site by attending trainingprovided by CCS and supporting with evidence gathering for monitor visits.
- Reporting and monitoring social impact outcomes which includes evidencing local labour, local spend, arranging work experience, recruitment from priority groups including participants from pre-employability support programmes, positive destination programmes and coordinating community-based activities.
- Upload of SI data to our internal reporting portal including monthly evidence.
- Handling sensitive data related to protected characteristics in line with GDPRrequirements.
- Supporting project teams to create and distribute project newsletters and updates to local community.
- Promoting the successes of our project teams’ social impact through creating case studies, good news articles and promoting successes internal and external.
