Description:

THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As a Social Impact Specialist at Lam, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and scaling our social impact programs including Lam Foundation grantmaking, employee charitable participation initiatives, volunteerism, and other community impact activities in demonstration of Lam’s commitment to act with purpose for a better world.
This contributor supports the administration of Lam Foundation giving programs and signature initiatives, helps drive employee participation and increasing volunteerism through key campaign and program execution, liaises with cross-functional collaborators to facilitate key initiatives, and provides excellent customer service while supporting employee and charitable program administration.

  • Experience in working within a matrixed reporting structure a plus
  • Understanding of nuances in working with domestic and international teams a plus
  • Experience with Benevity, CyberGrants, or other related activity management platforms a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • A minimum of 2+ years of professional, related experience or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience with corporate philanthropy, social impact, and/or employee participation programs preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in a large, matrixed global organization preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for Foundation grant facilitation, including application intake and compilation for the approval process, and maintain related internal and external content and collateral
  • Support maintenance of outcome data collection for grant program initiatives
  • Provide general assistance for broader Lam Foundation administration and reporting needs
  • Liaise with key collaborators to facilitate Lam’s activation in key signature program events, providing administrative and event-related support
  • Support relevancy and accuracy of social impact program content for the internal intranet, external website, and related employee resources
  • Liaise with the Volunteerism and Employee Giving Manager to support execution of annual global volunteerism and giving campaigns
  • Contribute toward facilitation of a global network of “Lam Cares Ambassadors”
  • Liaise with key collaborators to build employee participation in key signature programs
  • Manage local (where located) employee volunteerism activities
  • Support employee participation program administration, including matching gift processing, volunteer event postings, and giving opportunities in the online giving platform
  • Support employee customer service needs, responding to inquiries to the community relations inbox
  • Provide guidance, toolkit resources, and volunteerism/giving platform administration for employees organizing volunteer activities
  • Provide assistance with maintaining employee participation data for internal and external reporting, and liaise with cross-functional team members to compile program-wide participation data
  • Assist with compilation of volunteerism event information, participation results, stories for social media, photos, etc. for social impact activities
