Social & Match Day Media Assistant

at  Redlands United Football Club

Redlands United are looking for a Social and Game Day Media Assistant to assist with our social media output and match day media responsibilities.
This is a flexible position and may require some weekend and evening work.
We expect this position would be well suited to a student who is studying in a media related field, and hoping to gain some practical experience. It would also suit someone with some media experience who is looking for a new opportunity.
We are a not for profit and in an ideal world, this would be as a paid volunteer role however the club are open to discussing a suitable compensation package for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Solid knowledge of all social media platforms
• Basic knowledge of Canva would be advantageous
• A keen interest in photography and videography, which would highly regarded
• The ability to attend home games at Redlands United and assist with onsite media duties, testing equipment, PA Announcements and signage.
• A valid Blue Card, or be capable of obtaining one. (we can arrange for the successful applicant)
• Some interest and understanding of Football

We are flexible in our approach and welcome applications, even if you don’t tick all the boxes. Full training will be provided, what is most important is the personality and people skills of the candidate.
