Description:

SKILLS

The ideal candidate will:
Be a skilled writer with a portfolio to prove it.[CLW1]
Know how to use Canva or a similar tool while also understanding how to work with professional graphic designers.
Be deeply familiar with Meta Business Manager.
Have experience using Meltwater or similar social media publishing software.
Experienced in reading social media data and drawing conclusions from that data and making recommendations based on that data.[CLW2] [DSL3] [CW4]
Have experience in using Microsoft Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.[CLW5] [DSL6] [CW7] [CLW8]
Demonstrated ability to execute against brand guidelines and write in brand voice to give a consistent experience across platforms.

EDUCATION

A Bachelor’s Degree and five years of experience are required for this role or eight years of social media communications in lieu of having a degree.

HOURLY PAY RATE RANGE (DEPENDENT ON LOCATION, EXPERIENCE, EXPECTATION)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $39-$52/ per hour

Do you think of at least one blog idea from every podcast you listen to? Do you find yourself writing in 260-character chunks?

Consumers Energy is re-imagining how we use social media. While we’re busy online, we are not utilizing each of our social media channels to their fullest potential. For this role, you will be helping us take content ideas from business units throughout the company and making them come to life on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
Your day-to-day will include writing posts crafted to take advantage of the unique properties of each channel, consulting on video direction, working with our Visual Design team to create eye-catching graphics for your posts, maintaining a publishing calendar, and helping manage our growing community of followers.
