Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

C.O.P is seeking a creative and organized Social Media and Communication Manager to join our team part-time or freelance. This person will be responsible for creating and managing our social media presence, producing content, handling communications with the press, managing our community interactions, and coordinating special events. The ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in social media, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management & Content Production:
  • Produce high-quality yet effortless content, including photos, videos (Reels, Stories), graphics (flyers, stories), and texts.
  • Develop a comprehensive content calendar and plan engaging posts for our Instagram feed and other social media platforms.
  • Ensure consistent and timely content posting to maintain an active online presence.
  • Initiate and innovate new content ideas to keep the communication style fresh.
  • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.
  • Account Management:
  • Monitor and manage our social media accounts by reposting/sharing relevant stories, and promptly replying to messages and comments.
  • Engage with our online community to build and maintain strong relationships with our guests.
  • Website Upkeep:
  • Perform small updates and changes on our website to ensure content is current and relevant.
  • Newsletter Creation:
  • Write and design engaging newsletters to inform our guests about special events, promotions, and other restaurant news.
  • Press Communication:
  • Handle all communication with the press, including writing press releases and coordinating media coverage.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts.
  • Community Management:
  • Foster a positive community by engaging with followers and responding to their feedback and inquiries.
  • Work together with the restaurant’s team to gather content ideas and coordinate photo shootings.
  • Collaborations and Partnerships:
  • Identify and coordinate collaboration opportunities with influencers, local businesses, and other relevant partners
  • Storytelling:
  • Highlight and tell the stories of our producers and farmers through engaging content, showcasing the people behind our ingredients.
  • Consistency and Reporting:
  • Maintain a consistent voice characterized by transparency and an effortless communication style.
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
