The Zizzi marketing team have created a brand-new role to drive the awareness and engagement with one of the UK’s most loved and respected casual dining brands. Social Media is a vital agent of growth for the business and our newest team member will have the scope to create and develop their ideas. Supported by in-house and external expertise, this role will be highly visible and allow you to make a significant difference as you combine your creativity with alignment to the commercial objectives of the Zizzi brand.
This would be the perfect role for candidates with either in-house or agency experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure Zizzi has a strong social media presence, which follows the brand guidelines.
  • Create engaging and on-brand content (images, videos, stories) that reflects Zizzi’s style and tone.
  • Track and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest innovative ideas to increase engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing, food and design teams to align social media content with overall digital marketing strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media Studies, or relevant experience is preferred, but we’re also interested in talking to people with hands-on experience in food industries too
  • Experience in managing social media accounts for a brands or businesses.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva and video editing tools like CapCut.
  • A passion for food and a creative eye for presenting it visually.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF ROLE

To manage the social media presence of Zizzi, creating engaging content that enhances our brand, drives customer engagement, and builds our online community. This role requires a creative approach, strong content creation skills, and the ability to develop and manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the senior digital manager to contribute ideas into the social media content calendar and be responsible for the execution of the campaigns.
  • Oversee daily operations of all Zizzi social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Threads) including responding to customer comments and messages promptly.
  • Write engaging, brand-appropriate copy for both organic and paid social media posts.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos at Zizzi restaurants to be used across social media and paid social campaigns.
  • Ensure food presentation in content is visually appealing and true to the dining experience.
  • Assist in creating digital assets for paid social media campaigns, email marketing, and other content for digital marketing channels.
  • Engage with influencers, assist with the Zizzi ambassador scheme, and suggest new influencer partnerships and campaign ideas.
  • Assist with newsletter copywriting to keep customers informed about new offerings and events.
  • Contribute to website copy and campaign-focused landing pages.
  • Use scheduling tools to efficiently plan and manage social content.
