Position Overview:
The Social Media Content Specialist at Herbaland is responsible for creatively developing and managing high-quality content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, ensuring consistent brand messaging. This role involves designing and implementing a comprehensive content calendar aligned with business goals, seasonal promotions, and industry trends, while managing daily posts and optimizing content for maximum engagement through formats like reels, stories, and live videos. The specialist will oversee all aspects of social media account management, conduct audience research to enhance engagement, and monitor trends to keep strategies competitive. Analyzing performance metrics, coordinating influencer partnerships, executing campaigns, and maintaining a creative asset library are key responsibilities, alongside collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistency across all channels. Additionally, tracking competitor activity and industry trends will drive continuous improvement in Herbaland’s social media strategy.

  • Creatively develop and produce high-quality, visually compelling content (photos, videos, graphics) tailored for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms, maintaining consistent brand messaging and tone.
  • Design, plan, and implement a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with business objectives, seasonal promotions, product launches, and trends in the health and wellness industry.
  • Manage daily posting schedules, ensuring the timely delivery of fresh, engaging content, while maintaining an optimal balance between organic and paid social media content.
  • Optimize content for maximum engagement and reach, experimenting with different formats like reels, stories, live videos, and user-generated content.
  • Oversee all aspects of social media account management, including optimizing profile information, maintaining visual consistency, and ensuring a cohesive user experience across all platforms.
  • Conduct research on target audiences to create content that resonates with specific demographics, fostering stronger community engagement.
  • Continuously monitor social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates, and quickly adapt strategies to stay competitive.
  • Analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, and Hootsuite to optimize content, report on metrics, and recommend adjustments to improve engagement and reach.
  • Manage the coordination and execution of social media campaigns, including giveaways, influencer partnerships, and product collaborations, ensuring seamless integration into the overall content strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a library of creative assets, including photos, videos, and templates, to streamline content creation and ensure consistency in brand aesthetics.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, product) to align social media content with larger marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.Track competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement within Herbaland’s content strategy.

An ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, with a strong focus on creative content creation and managing accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Expertise in developing and executing content strategies, including the ability to plan, create, and manage content calendars.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar) and content creation software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Ability to generate highly creative, visually appealing content while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of platform algorithms and best practices for increasing organic reach and engagement.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to refine strategies and optimize content.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, working well within a team and cross-departmentally.Experience in the health and wellness industry is an asset.
