Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a creative and analytical Social Media Associate with a passion for content creation, particularly on TikTok. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling, on-brand content that drives both engagement and sales. You will work cross-functionally with the creative and growth teams to ensure our social media efforts align with broader marketing objectives, product launches, and brand moments. Additionally, you will engage directly with our social media community and help maintain an authentic and engaging presence across platforms.
This role requires someone who understands the nuances of social media, particularly TikTok, and can balance creating fun, viral content with product-focused posts that translate into sales. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring social media engagement and supporting marketing campaigns through active collaboration with various teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute social media content, with a focus on TikTok, that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
  • Brainstorm and create engaging, viral-worthy videos and reels that drive both awareness and sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and integrate them into our content strategy.
  • Manage and follow a social content calendar that aligns with the marketing team’s broader strategy.
  • Actively participate in photoshoots by preparing content moods and ensuring social assets are aligned with the shoot objectives.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and request assets, including Instagram posts and other digital designs.
  • Film, edit, and post content on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms as needed.
  • Experience with live streaming is a bonus as this role will require experimentation with Tik Tok Live.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with followers by liking, commenting, reposting, and responding to direct messages to build an authentic community.
  • Stay on top of social trends and communicate with users in a way that aligns with our brand’s identity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the creative team by submitting briefs for non-video assets, such as Instagram images.
  • Work closely with the growth team to ensure ad content needs are met and assets are delivered on time for paid social campaigns.
  • Contribute to marketing plans for product launches and key brand moments, determining the types and volume of social assets required.

Analytics & Performance:

  • Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of content and campaigns.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on social media performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure TikTok content and other social posts are aligned with performance goals, focusing on turning engagement into measurable business outcomes like sales and subscriptions.
