Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist to strengthen our relationship with our audience, build supportive communities, and promote our brand’s mission across various platforms. You’ll be instrumental in shaping conversations around relationships, separation and parenting apart, ensuring our community feels heard, informed, and supported.
Reporting to the Brand Manager, you’ll be pivotal in supporting the Brand & Marketing team’s growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media & Community Engagement Management
- Actively manage and engage our audiences across amicable’s social media channels.
Content Creation
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop content informed by community insights, ensuring it resonates with our audience
- Transform blog articles, podcasts, and interviews into compelling social media snippets that drive engagement
- Plan, film, and edit vox pops (short, real-life video interviews) capturing personal experiences of separation, co-parenting, and divorce, ensuring authenticity and emotional impact.
- Leverage user-generated content (UGC) and identify influencers to expand reach, increase engagement, and foster community trust
- Produce and edit high-quality vox pop content optimised for social media storytelling
- Monitor performance metrics, analyse engagement trends, and refine content strategy for maximum impact
- Manage both proactive and reactive content across LinkedIn, Threads, Twitter, and Bluesky, working closely with the Content Marketing Specialist to maintain a consistent and aligned brand voice
- Contribute to a mix of engaging, empathetic content, including blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, and video content
- Oversee and grow the YouTube channel, ensuring high-quality impactful video content in collaboration with the Content Marketing Specialist.
Community Building & Advocacy
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and nurture amicable’s online and offline communities
- Create spaces where individuals can share experiences, find support, and access valuable resources
- Act as the voice of the community, ensuring content and services reflect their needs and concerns.
Event Coordination
- Plan and host engaging webinars, Q&A sessions, and in-person events that provide real value to our community
- Collaborate with the Marketing team members to create interactive experiences that align with our mission.
Partnership Development
- Collaborate with the Partnership Manager to build relationships with relevant organisations, influencers, and stakeholders
- Leverage partnerships to expand amicable’s impact and reach.
Insights & Performance Tracking
- Monitor social listening and community engagement metrics
- User experience research
- Track feedback and provide insights to refine our engagement strategies
- Create meaningful interactions across our communities by responding to comments and messages with care and professionalism
- Participate in relevant external divorce and parenting forums, engaging in key conversations
- Support engagement across amicable’s podcast, app, and other audience touchpoints.
