REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional experience building and maintaining games communities online as a Community Manager, creating engaging content for an audience, and managing social media tools and platforms
  • Passion for games and new technologies
  • A drive to build and grow communities
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, such as as TikTok, X, Discord, Youtube and Reddit
  • Experience with video content creation programs (ex: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects)
  • Comfortable being on camera and acting as a spokesperson when needed
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator or other design programs
  • Experience with copywriting
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Community Manager at Resolution Games, you will lead our community management strategy and execution together with our marketing team. This is an on-site role based in Stockholm, where you will work closely with our game development teams and report directly to our Marketing Director in the US. You will also have a line manager based in Stockholm.
In this role, you will cultivate and expand our game communities and social media presence, working closely with the marketing and development teams to grow our audience and enhance the impact of our marketing campaigns. Your mission is to build, nurture, and invigorate vibrant game communities where players feel valued and engaged. Most importantly, you’ll be the voice of our players, serving as the champion for our games’ fanbase. Your task will be to ensure their voices are heard, advocating for their needs and interests, while also ensuring that our development teams’ messages and insights are effectively communicated back to the community.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Create and Execute community relation strategies: Develop community relations strategies and content calendars that drive engagement, retention, new downloads, player interactions, and company awareness for multiple game communities.
  • Produce Engaging Content: Set new standards in the XR games industry with short-form video content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, along with graphics for social media, Discord, and developer posts. Craft compelling social media copy to support this content.
  • Build Online Presence: Establish and maintain a strong online presence for our games on social media, Discord, Reddit, and YouTube.
  • Be our Community Liaison: Work closely with game teams to improve player experiences, acting as a key link between them and the community. Ensure our most dedicated players are heard and their feedback is communicated to internal teams to shape future game development.
  • Update Community Content: Keep community content in game stores up-to-date, including reviews, Steam streams, and developer posts.
  • Grow the Audience: Play a crucial role in expanding our audience by introducing more players to games they’ll love and fostering meaningful connections within our community. Stay informed about community trends and online behaviors.
  • Measure Success: Track and report the success of community campaigns and KPIs to stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and impactful community engagement.
