Reporting to the Social Media Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the broader marketing team, customer service social media team, e-commerce and commercial teams to ensure we’re always delivering social first content that aligns with our customer centric strategy. You will support and co-ordinate the social media content for our social channels and carry out social listening to ensure we’re ahead of the game when it comes to social output!

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years creating social media content
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms
• Strong copywriting skills
• Project managing experience and creating social media content
• Experience in creating, editing, and posting social content

• Generate high quality video, written, and visual content for our social media platforms, aligning to our content pillars and social media strategy. This would be created with the platforms in mind and edited with tools such as CapCut for the most social first content.
• Coordinate all content activity on Screwfix’s social media channels to ensure they reach our existing and untapped audiences, building on learnings from the platforms themselves and insights internally.
• Monitor social media channels and engage with the community to find the latest trends.
• Analyse data and metrics through the likes of Sprout, and the platforms themselves, to identify areas for improvement and optimise the social content performance.
• Collaborate with our agencies, influencers, and campaigns team to support business priorities through social media.
• Ensure the Screwfix brand is part of every decision making when creating content across all social channels, and is aligned to the customer plan and content calendar.
• Utilise tracking tools to report and deliver weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports.
